Free Agency Museum | Philadelphia 76ers
The 76ers’ free agency pitch to Tyrese Maxey was unlike anything the league had seen—months of planning led to the creation of a fully immersive museum dedicated to Tyrese’s story: The Journey, The Impact, and The Legacy. In collaboration with two external production agencies, our basketball operations team, and Tyrese’s family, we curated, designed, and built a best-in-class experience that honored his past, celebrated his present, and envisioned his future with the organization.
As a brand and creative project lead, I helped shape the holistic experience and led the development of the museum’s final chapter—a future-focused space that highlighted three defining moments of Tyrese’s career: his breakout performances, his All-Star debut, and his Most Improved Player campaign. The exhibit imagined his legacy as a 76er, featuring a SLAM cover in the infamous 2001 black Iverson uniform, a statue unveiling, a championship win, and a physical banner drop of his retired number. It was a powerful blend of storytelling, design, and emotional connection—crafted to inspire, celebrate, and most of all, resonate.

“In 23 years, I’ve never seen a presentation like this for any player, and I’ve been around them all.”

We spotlighted the three defining moments of Tyrese Maxey’s career: his breakout performances, All-Star debut, and Most Improved Player campaign. These key moments were brought to life through custom videos displayed on large screens within bespoke exhibit containers. I storyboarded and art directed the videos, working closely with our in-house production team to ensure each piece captured the energy and significance of these milestones. The final result was a dynamic and engaging experience that honored Tyrese’s journey as a 76er and his impact on the team’s legacy.
